Unpublished

Hi guys! My friend Jasper asked me if I could pose for him on the project he's working on. I know, this is a late post again since this happened last term but nonetheless, I'd like to share some of the photos. Anyway, the peg for this magazine is something sexy so I tried my very best to look one because I know physically I don't  look like those hot and sexy Victoria's Secret cover girls or whosoever. But whatever, I had fun in shooting this anyway especially with my friends always teasing me :( Hahaha no im just kidding.

I have to say, this has got to be my favorite with the black and white effect. Looks elegant! What do you guys think? :)

Zac Efron Fan Conference 2012

Oh my gosh, I know this is a super late post but I know this is just a must-post since I consider this as one of my unforgettable moments with my ultimate crush, Zac Efron! I could still remember the details and the little drama before the big day. Haha! Well, here are some pictures during the show. Thanks Penshoppe for making my dreams into reality--even though I haven't actually met him but to see him personally is enough already. Wish you'd come back here sooner, Zac and hopefully, I would get my luck this time. (*flirty giggle)

I even made this poster just in case he will notice me. Hahaha! Fangirl-ing feels

I love you Zac Eron! I really wish you'd come back here real soon and that we could hang out. You know, I could show you around and we could be friends and maybe eventually more than that? Just saying... Haha! I know, I'm being hysterical but no-- I really love you Zac! From your number one fan, Bea :)

Shift

Last term, our finals for my Computer Graphics subject was to make our own band with band merchandises and you know stuffs like that. I'm very happy to say that I have the most amazing bandmates in the world! Haha! I sounded like a real famous band member. Well anyway, because of that, we went to The Fort for our photoshoot. We had so much fun and thanks also to our awesome photographer for the wonderful photos. Here are some of our pictures:

Special thanks to Robert Valdellon for editing this pic and for teaching me more about Photoshop. Haha!

And here are some of Robert's work for our finals. I just have to share them. They look so real and impressive! :)

Isn't this amazing? :)
And here's what I re-edit for our magazine in DESKPUB

Afters, baby

You don’t have to go to expensive coffee shops when you just want to chill, sip coffee, eat desserts. There’s a new coffee shop that I’m sure everyone would love. Afters, located in Tomas Morato would have to be one of my most favorite coffee shops in Manila. They serve such delicious yet affordable cakes and other desserts such as gelato. And when I say ‘affordable’, I really mean that. Imagine, when you would buy a ‘gelato’ from other ice cream parlors, how much would you pay for a scoop? 100 plus? In Afters, it’s less—plus it’s satisfying and the amount of scoop is justifiable! (Same also as the coffee and the cakes.) Their Oreo cheesecake and Choco lava cake would have to be my favorite. Another thing that I love about Afters is that the place is so clean and conducive when you want to study, have meetings or simply just chill.

Heavenly Oreo Cheescake!

Mouth-watering Choco Lava Cake

My favorite's the mango flavor (as usual)

Gelato ice creams

Some of their delicious yet affordable cakes

I hope sooner they would have to open a new branch (hopefully in Taft of near Taft). If that is the case, then I would be their first and customer every day. Can't wait to go there again! :)

Lost then found

Remember what I told you about my post earlier when my friends and I decided to go food tripping for a day? Well, in this post I'm going to tell you more details on some of the funny experiences that we had during that day.

After dining in Santorini, we moved on to our next destination, Causeway which is in Banawe. Basically, none of us didn't know how to get there except for Haya. So we rode a jeep from Espana to Banawe. The driver dropped us somewhere in E. Rodriguez where instead of seeing restaurants, we see auto-parts shop instead. You could imagine our faces when we got there--confused and sort of in a panic mode because we thought that we were lost. So we started asking for directions and they would tell us just to go straight and that we would see a McDonald's and that it's just near. So we walked and walked for kilometers already and then we saw a McDonald's branch but it wasn't the McDonald's that we were looking for. So we walked again. We were walking for about 30 minutes now and my feet hurts like hell!

So we keep on walking til we saw Razon's. Sinch everyone of us is already tired, we decided to go inside and order something. Here's what we ordered:

The very famous, Razon's halo-halo which is my favorite!

After eating, we decided to continue on to our journey in finding Causeway. (Lol, that sounded weird) On our way again, we found this small Taiwanese restaurant Feng Wei Wee and then my friend was like "Hey, let's eat here so that we can add something for our magazine". So we went inside and ordered these:

Here are the rest of the dishes from the restaurant

After that, we finally saw what we're looking for! We were so happy that we rushed and ran towards the restaurant. We even realized that we could have taken the jeep instead but we were unsure if it would take us to the our destination. So much for that, anyway, there was a deep sense of relief when we got to Causeway. We immediately ordered some of my favorite dimsum like siomai and chicken feet. But what made this food trip even unforgettable is that we ordered something exotic.

Yep, we ordered Fried Frog Legs and man, it tastes so good! Way better than chicken! :)

But our food trip in Banawe doesn't end here. Just across Causeway, we saw Bodhi, a restaurant that serves healthy dishes. I'm not really a vegetable-person but for the sake of our magazine, I finally gave in. Here's what we ordered:

All smiles for a happy tummy :)

So this ends our food trip in Banawe. Our stomachs were so happy that we went home with a full tummy but  an empty wallet (*sighs) But it was worth it, my friends and I had fun and someone told me that it's not bad to spend much on food. This definitely would not be the last but I still need to save though for our next food trip adventures. Can't wait for that! :)

Authentic Korean Experience

Craving for some delicious yet affordable Korean dish? Don't fret, I know just the perfect place. My friend, Haya told me about Santorini, a small Korean restaurant in P. Noval near UST which serves delicious yet very affordable Korean food. My first time in Santorini was beyond satisfying! Together with Haya and Eths, the three of us really pigged out  and with only  400 pesos (all in all), we were able to have at least 3 dishes already plus their servings are really big!

Our midterm project for my Desktop Publishing class was to create a magazine using original photos and articles. My groupmates and I decided to go for a Food Magazine. Now since we can't use pictures from the internet, we actually went on food tripping for a day. Basically, our magazine has 5 sections: Asian, healthy dishes, exotic, the latest food trends and desserts. I was assigned to do the Asian section so together with my groupmates, we looked for really cool Asian restaurants such as Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese and even Filipino. And guess, where our first stop is--yup, you got it right! None other than my new favorite Santorini. Here's what we ordered that day:

Rice cake

Bibimbap

Ramen

Bulgogi

Plus, even though the place was small, you can still feel the ala-Korean experience because of the posters on the wall with some of my favorite K-pop artists.

I see T.O.P's old picture right over there haha!

I really want to come back here anytime soon. I've been craving for Korean food for days now and I know I just have to fill this craving as soon as possible. But it's hard to find time especially when UST is not that near to CSB so hopefully, my friends and I would be able to dine here really really soon! :)
