So it's our second day in Bacolod and we're pretty much excited since we are finally hitting the Jomabo Island!!! God, I love this place! It's like we owned the island for a day since we were the only ones there. Such a beautiful and breathtaking place! Best parts of this island experience were the following:
JP's 'Life of Pi' moment
Of course, we wouldnt want only JP to have the moment so here's our tragic Life of Pi moment with DJ and Mixi. Haha!
Bonfire!!!
After the bonfire, we decided to play cards before going to bed. It was really fun and we were really noisy. Oopsy, haha! No doubt, I was their favorite storyteller when we played 'Mafia'.
Here's my most favorite picture:
Watched the sunset with my favorite people, how romantic could it be? :)
Hey guys! I know I haven't been blogging lately due to such a very busy term but since it's summer and I'm free from all those school works, I was finally able to find time to blog a new post. Yaaay!
So, my college friends and I went to Bacolod to spend our summer. It was one heck of an experience! Of course, thanks to Keith, his parents--Tito Rene and Tita Jackie for the hospitality. A week at the 'City of smiles' was totally an unforgettable summer not just to me but to my friends as well. So here it goes..
Love these people over here! Indeed, friends for keeps! (Insert Mella, Manjean and Jasper)
The Ruins: The Lacson Mansion. Such a beautiful place and the story on how this magnificent mansion was built.
Kuya tour guide got photography skillz!
And of course, a trip to Bacolod wouldn't be complete without trying the legit Inasal!
Visited the Montalbo Mansion on the same day!
Our 'Reptile Reck' experience. And nope, I didn't hold any of these reptiles--not a fan.at.all. Night time came and we were basically just resting from our long trip--had some Vitamilk inuman sessions (Haha!), watched a horror movie and of course, some ghost stories before we REALLY go to sleep.
Well, we got to visit two mansions for a day. Man, this place has lots of big houses. Awesome!
Last Saturday, my good friend, Hazel celebrated her debut at the NBC Tent in Bonifacio High Street. Basically, her theme was 'Alice in Wonderland' so we were all in our whimsical outfits that night, together with extravagant hats, headpieces and even make-up!
Yup, I was the bunny slash red queen slash I dont really know! Haha!
When we got to the venue, (Thank God we were not late anymore, haha!) we were immediately welcomed by the yummy food served during the cocktail.
Look, the blue iced tea even has its 'Drink Me' tag, same as the story! Too cute!

with the debutante! <3
Anyway, since we got there early, we decided to have our pictures taken at the super cool moving photobooth! Sadly, we forgot to claim our photobook after the party :( (*sayanggggg!) When we got to the main venue, we were really amazed by the set-up! I mean, it really was so cool and you can really feel that you're part of the Alice in Wonderland story! From the table settings, the stage and there's even the White Castle and the Red Castle, of course with the White Queen, Red Queen and the Madhatter! Okay, how will I say this...It was really BONGGA! Hahaha!

Oh did I mention that the emcee was actually the white queen? She was so adorable and funny! (I'm still waiting for our picture with her from JP though) So before the 'actual program' started, together with Hazel's pep friends and us, we danced a mob and I don't want to go into further details since that was probably my most embarrassing moment that night. (Don't ask). After that, Hazel changed into her second attire that evening.
The lovely debutante <3
So after that, was the picture taking and dinner. After that was the presentation of the 18 wishes, 18 treasures and the 18 MadHatters (18 roses). Unlike other usual 18 wishes/candles or whatever you wanna call it, we were actually told by her sister to send a 30-45 second birthday greeting video instead wearing silly yet cute make-ups that can be associated with Alice in Wonderland. It was actually a brilliant idea to save time.
This was my birthday greeting for Hazel though I emailed the other one since I think I would look stupid trying my best to sound British. But whatever, I sent this to Hazel and she loved it so that's pretty much fair enough for me. Haha!
Screw the video's thumbnail. Haha!
So after presenting the video, the LCD screen opened and we 'magically' appeared. No, Im just kidding. Haha! Instead, we had the 18 shots.
After the 18 shots, was the 18 treasures and then followed by the 18 MadHatters. It was also very unique because unlike other debuts, there's only one song/music for all the 18 gentlemen. But with Hazel's, it was different. Every guy has different genres of song. Like for example, for DJ, he picked Gangnam Style; JP--Single Ladies; Manjean-- Totoy Bibo; Keith-- Pamela; Jasper-- Spaghetti. I mean, it was really fun looking at the guys dance at those songs! We were laughing and cheering for them the whole time!
After that, it was followed by the announcement of winners of the Raffle Promo. We didn't know how to join and we thought that all guests were automatically part of the contest so imagine our frustrations when we found out what the prizes were: an underwater camera, portable DVD player and a mini-ref! HUHUHU :( Hahaha!)
Then followed Hazel's ala-ASAP dance performance, which according to Manjean, was ASAP XXVII and we don't know why. Haha! Then one of my favorite parts during parties: party!
Assuming to be Red Queen. haha!
Happy happy birthday Hazel! Thanks for the letting us be part of your magical night! We love you! xx
